Who can please God

A person who does not know God is like a lost person who does not know the reason of his existence at a given place on a given time. He just keeps living life as it comes. Majority of people in this lost world lives without knowing the light and do all sort of things without knowing the consequences.

Another group of people who exist in this world, are those, who truly believe in the existence of God but do not know who he is, they seek him. All religions in this world came into existence, because of this very reason. However, such people do what is right in their own sight. This same thing happened in the Old Testament times also. A Believer’s journey

I had to visit Kuwait.

I had to catch a flight in the early morning with my husband and my infant son. Many preparations were done. Ticket were bought first, then getting up in the very early morning, packing bags, packing the food for the baby, standing in the queue for the check-in , passport control queues, taking care of the infant all throughout because he was running here and there at the airport, boarding the plane, plane take off, air pressure causing pain in the ears, sitting in the tight seats, though feeling sleepy yet not able to stretch, landing of the plane, bearing second installment of pain in the ears, tired etc. Continue Reading

City on the hill

During one of my recent travels to Uttaranchal, I visited Hrishikesh for a prayer walk with Shishye Thompson. As we were traveling on the meandering roads of this hilly region, I saw many houses built on the hills, mostly painted in white color but some in other colors too. The houses with other colors were camouflaged with the mountains and trees in the background. It was difficult to see them clearly, they just looked lost.

Immediately, I was reminded of the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ –

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

(Matthew 5:14)

The perfect mistake

I was amazed why God did not allow me to change the ‘Word of the week’ for two weeks. I intended to change, yet, when I asked for it, He did not provide His Word. Finally I chose to keep this page as is – thinking probably God has to make that message available to someone who really needed it.

Finally, He touched my heart with one very inspiring story from Email Ministry – ‘The perfect mistake’. I have been thoroughly blessed, so publishing it as is, with all due credit to the Email Ministry team.

First Love

love

My wife is always cautious that we must never loose the flavor of our first love, the charm of our marriage as we had since beginning. Sometimes when she sees an evident lack of communication or lack of care or lack of passion, she does complain; however, this does not disappoint her, neither she looses her heart but she tries more and more to keep our married life fresh as ever. The case for FAITH

I was called the other day to my supervisor’s office. After probing a bit about the ongoing projects being handled by me, he handed over a small book to me. He said that he wanted me to read it and give his comments, soon. The book’s title was ‘The true message of Jesus Christ’ authored by an Arabic writer (as from the name I perceived).

This gesture was triggered by me, since I offered him a copy of my book ‘Encounter with Life’ a few weeks ago to read. At a quick glance, I knew that this soft bound small book is certainly going to give me a different perspective on Jesus which is more close to the followers of the land, I am living in. Healing of our daughter brought us in relationship with our creator | Inder Mulchandani

Greetings to you in the sweet name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

My name is Inder Mulchandani. I belong to a traditional Hindu family. I would like to share with you my real life story (personal testimony) as to how God healed our daughter from a terminal illness and changed our lives by introducing us to our saviour, Jesus Christ. I want you to know that I did not convert my religion but I have found the true God. My testimony goes like this:

In 1996, I met Anjali, a catholic girl on the reception counter of one of my customer’s office in Dubai. After several visits, we became friends which became later an emotional affair which concluded in our marriage in in 1998. To us a beautiful daughter was born in 2001; we gave her the name Janvi. After around 10 months of her birth, we noticed some swelling in her eyes, which grew so much as if eyes would fall out. We took her to a hospital from where we were referred to a bigger hospital in Sharjah. Doctors did all kinds of tests including ultrasound and blood test and finally gave us the shock of our lives.

Janvi was diagnosed with blood cancer. Continue Reading

I love an unbeliever, may be I can save him along!

But I love a non-believer and I am sure I will be able to bring him or her to my faith after marriage. Probably God wants to save one soul by this.

May be, but to me the probability looks very less.

We must understand that it could be a deception of devil to take us away from God than our genuine effort to save the soul. God wants to save souls, this is His agenda but he would not compromise on the way it should be done. When He asks not to be unequally yoked with unbeliever, He means it.

If you are unable to witness the love of Jesus to this person before marriage, there is hardly a chance that you would be able to do it after it. Especially for girls in Indian society, it could be even harder to persuade her spouse to believe in what she believes. This may rather affect her own spiritual growth and draw her away from fellowship and eventually from God Himself. Think! Are you not bringing obstacles in your own spiritual growth? Decision is all yours.

I came to Delhi with them and lived quite long span of my life with them. They had no child till then and they loved me as if I was their own kid. They fulfilled all my requirements/desires as and when stated. As the days passed by, I grew up to know that at time my father was working in a Shipping Corporation as a guard. He also loved me a lot. In fact, Didi, Bahnoi, elder brother and love of my parents was so much in plenty for me that I would lack nothing. I was very active child. Right from the small age of 7-8, I started earning my pocket-money through some home-trades so I was independent to some extent to take my decisions on my own. Continue Reading
