For 2 weeks, once again I was asking God to give me a message for this place. I think more than seeking the will of God, I was bothered about filling this space and therefore I received nothing.
Now today, while meditating upon the word ‘jeevan’ (in hindi, which means ‘life’, I was amazed at this one thought. Let’s consider our whole life as a book called LIFE and every day we spend as a page of this book. Each one of us has his own book and every individual is busy writing it everyday, every moment whether realizing it or not.
This God given book is currently being authored by us – by you and by me. Every thought we have is being written, every motive that we make is written, every word that we speak is registered, every emotion which we harbour is captured, every activity that we do is recorded. Every day of our life is one page and is recorded exactly how we lived it. Continue Reading →
I had to visit Kuwait.
I had to catch a flight in the early morning with my husband and my infant son. Many preparations were done. Ticket were bought first, then getting up in the very early morning, packing bags, packing the food for the baby, standing in the queue for the check-in , passport control queues, taking care of the infant all throughout because he was running here and there at the airport, boarding the plane, plane take off, air pressure causing pain in the ears, sitting in the tight seats, though feeling sleepy yet not able to stretch, landing of the plane, bearing second installment of pain in the ears, tired etc. Continue Reading →
During one of my recent travels to Uttaranchal, I visited Hrishikesh for a prayer walk with Shishye Thompson. As we were traveling on the meandering roads of this hilly region, I saw many houses built on the hills, mostly painted in white color but some in other colors too. The houses with other colors were camouflaged with the mountains and trees in the background. It was difficult to see them clearly, they just looked lost.
Immediately, I was reminded of the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ –
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

For last couple of weeks, we are charged up with so many exciting things happening. Brother Anilkant from Mumbai visited us for a worship event – YESHU BHAKTI SANDHYA. Lovely man of God with humility and joy of the Lord in him and anointed with awesome gift of engaging people in worship using his music and singing talent. This was a time of learning and sheer excitement as we worshipped our Lord in joy with dancing and singing.
As he left, pastor uncle (Peter Kuruvilla) joined us and the blessings have continued to flow. We heard his testimony of coming in faith from Catholic background and then how God has trained him for his service during his youth through his submission and suffering. This was an encouragement to our young lives.
However, One thing what God was talking through both of them was – Make God your Lord in every way! Continue Reading →
prasiddh darshanik, itihasakar aur tarkashastree, Bartrand Russell, jo anek darshanik grathon ke lekhak rahe hai tatha jo apane nastik vicharon ke lie jane jate hain, unhonne kaha hai - jab tak ham ek
Hah! This statement is not true.
The only mention in this context is the statement of Jesus spoken to His disciples regarding His own body and blood.
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.”
Jesus in the above verses was talking something deeper than mere flesh and blood, he was talking about His suffering, death, life and resurrection through which He was about to pay the price of sins so that putting faith in His sacrifice we could be saved by His grace (and no works attached).
Apart from this, there is no mention of eating human flesh or drinking human blood. Rather, Bible in Old Testament asked to abstain from certain kind of meats and any kind of allowed meat with blood.
My wife Prerna is vegetarian and she has not eaten even any kind of meat in last 7 years of her devoted faith life in following Jesus Christ.
